Spa etiquette

For the best possible spa experience, here are some hints and tips to allow you to fully enjoy your time.

Spa guest service agents can reserve treatment times and assist with selecting treatments. Please notify the spa guest service agent if you have high blood pressure, allergies, physical ailments, disabilities, cancer or are pregnant. While a few services should be avoided during pregnancy and those with cancer, there are treatments that can be enjoyed.

Arrival Time

For your enhanced comfort and relaxation we invite all guests to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment. This will allow you time to relax and enjoy a glass of water or tea in our lounge. Please note that for all new guests there is a short health consultation form to complete. Arriving late will limit the time for your treatment, thus decreasing its effectiveness and your pleasure.

Reservations and Cancellations

We have reserved this time especially for you. In the event that you are unable to keep your appointment, please notify us a minimum of 24 hours in advance for individual bookings and 48 hours in advance for multiple bookings to avoid being charged for the scheduled service. There is a 60% charge for cancellations made less than 24 or 48 hours in advance. There is 100% charge for no shows.

If you are arriving late for your appointment(s), we will do our best to accommodate the remainder of the treatment; however, original prices will apply. All reservations must be secured with a credit card or gift certificate. We accept the following methods of payment: Cash, Debit, Visa, MasterCard, AMEX or Business Cheque.

A Calm Quiet

Mountain Waters Spa and Wellness is a place of tranquility and quiet. During your spa visit we ask that you use a quiet, soft voice to respect the tranquil atmosphere we have created for our guests. In consideration of other guests and in order to fully enjoy your time at the spa, we ask that all cell phones and pagers be turned off prior to arrival.

In order to maintain our relaxed and tranquil atmosphere we ask that children/pets not be brought into the spa.

Gratuities

Treatments and gift experiences do not include gratuities. Gratuities are not expected but are always welcome.
